Visit the ALPENIGLU® village in the ski resort Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental in the Kitzbuehel alps. The great igloo village with 18 igloos and its fascinating exhibition ICE LAND is located right next to the mountain station Hochbrixen. The ice sculpture exhibition ICE LAND shows lovely handcrafted ice sculptures by international artists which are are well-lit using professional LED techniques. Magnificent music is added to complete this unique scene. The ice artists stood out due to their exceptional concepts during the application period and then built their sculptures on the spot. During the guided tours around ICE LAND, professional ALPENIGLU® Guides show the art works and talk about the artists. They describe the artists intentions and explain how they carved their ice sculptures. The guides also talk about the building of the igloos, which are not built in the classic Eskimo style. The material for the ICE LAND sculptures is crystal clear ice from the ALPENIGLU® ICE PRODUCTION. The huge ice blocks, which are made using a special technique, weigh ca. 120 kilogram. They are not only the perfect building material for sculptures, but also for ice benches, ice tables, ice glasses, ice plates and the ERISTOFF ice bar in the igloo village.
