How to get to the ALPENIGLU® village?

The ALPENIGLU® village is located in the heart of the ski resort SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental. It is only an hour by car from Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck. The fascinating ALPENIGLU®  village is situated in the mountains of Hochbrixen, above - Brixen im Thale (area code: 6364), only 10 minutes from Kitzbühel by car.

How to get to the ALPENIGLU® village by car?

From Germany:
A12 Munich - Rosenheim – exit Kufstein Süd - (currently no motorway tolls as far as Kufstein Süd) or exit at Wörgl Ost and take the expressway towards Brixental and then to Brixen im Thale

From Italy:
A13/A12 Brenner - Innsbruck (direction Munich) - exit Wörgl Ost
Direction St. Johann to Brixental, then Brixen im Thale

From Switzerland:
Feldkirch - Innsbruck (A12 direction Munich/Salzburg) - exit Wörgl Ost
Direction St. Johann to Brixental, then Brixen im Thale

From Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary:
Motorway A1 to Salzburg - Bad Reichenhall - Lofer - Waidring -
St. Johann in Tyrol then direction Kitzbühel/Kirchberg to Brixen im Thale
Parking: Parking is available at the Hochbrixen cable-car (6364 Brixen im Thale, Liftweg 1)

Arrival by train:
Train ride with ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways) to Brixen im Thale, Dorfstraße 32, A-6364 Brixen im Thale, Austria
Walking distance from train station to cable-car station approx. 1,4 km

What to do when you get there?
Skiers can buy their ski passes at the cable-car ticket office in Brixen im Thale if necessary. Non-skiers only need a regular ticket to visit the ALPENIGLU® village. Take the cable-car up to the mountain station Hochbrixen. The ALPENIGLU® village is located right behind the mountain station/SkiWelt hut.

Opening times:
Daily 11am – 4pm, from the end of December until the end of April.

We welcome our evening – and overnight guests between 4 – 4.15pm at the Eristoff Icebar at the ALPENIGLU® village.
