Exhibition "Ice Land"

A very special destination for your trip in Tyrol this winter … the igloo exhibition ICE LAND with lovely ice sculptures

Visit the ALPENIGLU® village in the ski resort SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental in the Kitzbuehel alps. The great igloo village with 18 igloos and its fascinating exhibition ICE LAND is located next to the mountain station Hochbrixen. The ice sculpture exhibition ICE LAND shows lovely handcarved ice sculptures done by international artists and well-lit using professional LED techniques. The ice artists stood out due to their exceptional concepts during the application period and then carved their sculptures directly on the spot.

During the guided tours around ICE LAND, professional ALPENIGLU® guides show you the ice sculptures and tell you everything about the artists, their intentions and motivations as well as the techniques used to create those sparkling masterpieces. The guides also let you in on the secret about igloo building, which is not the traditional Eskimo style. The material for the ICE LAND sculptures is crystal clear ice from the ALPENIGLU® ICE PRODUCTION. The huge ice blocks, which are made using a special technique, weigh apprx. 120 kilos. They are not only the perfect building material for sculptures, but also for ice benches, ice tables, ice glasses, ice plates and the ALPENIGLU® ice bar in the igloo village.

Regardless of the weather or if you visit us by ski or on foot, the special journey through the ALPENIGLU® ice exhibiton starts every 30 minutes, half and full hour. We invite you to join us for a completely different experience.

The exhibition is open from the end of December until the end of March, 10.30 am – 4 pm daily.

The guided tours are multilingual and don't need to be pre-booked.

Admission €5 for adults, €3 for children up to 11 years, free admission for local ski schools with children.
