On 5 January 2013 the official opening of ALPENIGLU® village was celebrated!

The construction work of 3,000 cubic meters of snow, 40 tons of crystal clear ice, sophisticated lighting and a lot of muscle power are completed and the igloo village is in full operation.

Nearly 1000 interestet people followed the invitation on the evening of 05.01.2013 on the mountain station of Hochbrixen to look inside the world of snow and ice.

Throughout the day, already discounted tours were offered. From 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. our guests had the opportunity to get up to the free gondola Hochbrixen and experience a unique evening on the mountain. Live music and dinner at Sepp in the neighboring hut SkiWelt completed their evening. Many of the nearly 1,000 interested people were enchanted by the ice exhibition "Ice Land" to this year's theme of "legends".

Several shows of fire artists and the Krampus team of Brixen im Thale completed the evening with a lots of action.
